UTACCS is committed to facilitating access to research on evidence-based practice and programs (EBPs). There are two no-cost ways to obtain specific articles or research a general topic.
The first way is to contact UTACCS. As part of the University of Utah, UTACCS can access a large number of both scholarly and public databases, peer-reviewed journals, and on-campus expertise. Whether you are looking for a specific article or would like UTACCS to gather/evaluate research on a topic, we are happy to assist you.
The second way to access research on EBPs is through your local public library. Public libraries provide no-cost access to the Pioneer Database, which encompasses large databases like EBSCOhost, Academic Search Premier, CINAHL, Pre-CINAHL, Health Source, MasterFILE Premier, MEDLINE, PsycARTICLES, Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection, PsycINFO, and TOPICsearch. Public libraries also have access to state-wide on-line databases. You must have a library card to access databases through the public library; FREE library cards are available at all library branches. For more information, contact your local public library.
Should you have any questions about accessing research, or would like to request research, please contact UTACCS.
